Dead Man’s Pass Ranch is under the authority of a Level 3 Managed Lands Deer Permit. The MLDP allows us to have the state’s most flexible seasons and bag limits.
Hunting license is required, but use of your hunting license tag(s) are not required on deer harvested under the authority of this permit; therefore county and statewide bag limits do not apply to individual hunters.
If there is no harvest as a result of “no opportunity” (i.e., fog, type/class of deer paid for not seen, no animals seen, etc.) Hunter may be given the opportunity to book a re-hunt starting at a cost of $595.00 per hunter to cover the costs of lodging and meals. Re-hunts are at the sole discretion of the owner and if allowed are only valid for a one-year period from the Hunter’s original hunt. Furthermore, if the Ranch does allow a re-hunt, the Hunter understands that there is a maximum of only two re-hunts allowed per hunt. If the Hunter shoots and misses an animal, Hunter understands he/she was given the opportunity to harvest such animal and agrees the Ranch has completely fulfilled its obligations to the Hunter and the Hunter understands he/she is not entitled to a re-hunt.
98% of the time you are eligible for a re-hunt.
Yes, guest fees start at $595 and depend on the length of hunt.
